Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia admits his side let the fans down and claimed his players looked like "strangers" after their 3-0 defeat to West Brom.[LNB] The Black Cats went down to goals from Jonas Olsson, Chris Brunt and Juan Carlos Menseguez in a lacklustre display which leaves their Premier League status up in the air with just four games remaining.[LNB]Sunderland still face trips to Bolton and Portsmouth as well as home fixtures against Everton and Chelsea in a relegation battle which promises to go right down to the wire.[LNB]Sbragia will have earmarked the West Brom fixture as a must-win game in their fight for survival and was left mystified with the performance.[LNB]"We let everybody down, we let ourselves down and we let the fans down," he told Sky Sports.[LNB]"We're scratching our heads to understand why we've put in a bad performance after the reasonably good performance last week, a committed performance and then today we seemed to be strangers."[LNB]
