Sbragia happy with response

Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia believes his players have responded well to the inquest into their shock defeat to West Brom.

The Black Cats succumbed to a 3-0 defeat to basement boys West Brom last weekend, leaving them looking nervously over their shoulders in the fight to avoid relegation.

Sbragia made the whole squad sit through a video of the defeat at The Hawthorns as he looks to sort out their problems ahead of this Sunday's visit of Everton and he has been pleased by their attitude in training.

"They were a bit quiet after the game on Saturday, the dressing room was very quiet in general," Sbragia told Sky Sports News.

"We put our points across and we addressed it on Sunday, Monday, mainly on Monday and said that will never happen again and we hope it doesn't.

"On Tuesday, Wednesday they were very buoyant and trained extremely well and we hope they can carry that into the game on Sunday."
