Sbragia fronts up

Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia could dispense with one of his big-name strikers as he looks to stave off relegation. The Black Cats slipped to their sixth defeat in seven Barclays Premier League games against Everton on Sunday and head into Saturday's trip with Bolton sitting just four points above the drop zone. They have not won on the road in the league since they defeated Hull 4-1 on December 20 in the Scot's third game at the helm, and have lost the last four on the trot. That is a situation which will have to be addressed as a matter of urgency with Portsmouth also to come at Fratton Park before Chelsea arrive at the Stadium of Light on the final day of the campaign. Perhaps even more worryingly, the Black Cats have managed only four goals in their last 10 games, and having seen Kenwyne Jones and Djibril Cisse, who have 21 goals between them this season but only one apiece during that run, fail to register again at the weekend, Sbragia has hinted he may opt for change. He said: "I think now is the time where we have to look at everything about our approach to away games, and that includes the formation and whether or not we go with two strikers from now on."
