Sbragia concentrating on survival
Ricky Sbragia insists he is paying no attention to reports linking other managers with the Sunderland job.
The Black Cats are four points above the drop zone after a 2-0 defeat to Everton at the Stadium of Light on Sunday.
Sbragia's day began with various reports linking Louis van Gaal and Steve McClaren with his job, and knowing Ellis Short's plans to complete a takeover could depend on him keeping the club in the top flight.
However, he insisted that was far from his mind.
He said: "The added pressure for me is getting points, I can't worry about that side. I know I have got to move up the table and move up the table soon, and not rely on others. We have got to do it.
"We had a great opportunity, that's the annoying thing about it. We had a fantastic opportunity to get something and get some daylight between us and the ones below us, and we didn't quite achieve that."
