Reported West Brom target Kieran Richardson wants to stay at Sunderland and is confident he is part of Steve Bruce's long-term plans.[LNB] The 25-year-old joined the Black Cats from Manchester United three years ago and he has started 27 games in the Premier League this season.[LNB]However, he has often been used at left-back by Bruce and Sunderland's report interest in Wigan's Maynor Figueroa has led to question marks over Richardson's future.[LNB]West Brom, where Richardson spent time on loan in 2005, are reportedly weighing up a bid after clinching a return to the Premier League.[LNB]Richardson, though, is not looking to quit the Black Cats and believes he will be involved in the club's future following talks with his manager.[LNB]"I definitely want to stay here and the manager wants me to stay, too, so I'll be here next season," said Richardson in the Daily Star.[LNB]"This will be my fourth year here. I said when I joined I wanted to put down roots, prove myself as a Premier League player and settle at the club.[LNB]"I'm enjoying it here. I love the club, the area and the fans, who have supported me ever since I started."
