Reid wants Republic recall

Andy Reid has no plans to retire from international football despite being overlooked by Giovanni Trapattoni for Republic of Ireland's victory over Georgia.[LNB] The Sunderland midfielder was not even named in the squad and reports have suggested he does not have a good relationship with the manager.[LNB]Trapattoni has stressed that his decision was not 'a personal issue' and Reid maintains that he is still available for selection.[LNB]Republic have made a strong start to their World Cup qualification campaign and Reid hopes to help his country make it through to the tournament in South Africa.[LNB]"I watched the match on Wednesday and it was hard," the 26-year-old told the Irish Independent. [LNB]"I would love to be involved. I'm always available to play for Ireland, any time they want me to play they know where I am. [LNB]"I would love to be involved. I'm always available.
