Reid leaves Sunderland for Blackpool
SUNDERLAND midfielder Andy Reid has completed a permanent switch to fellow Premier League side Blackpool.[LNB] The Dublin-born player heads to Bloomfield Road for an undisclosed fee.[LNB] Reid, who has 27 senior caps for the Republic of Ireland, recently returned to Wearside from a loan spell at Championship side Sheffield United where he impressed with nine appearances following a troublesome calf injury.[LNB] Following spells at Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur, Reid joined the Black Cats from Charlton Athletic in January 2008 and made 80 appearances in all competition, scoring six goals.[LNB]
