QPR Boss Fears Sunderland Strikers

QPR manager Harry Redknapp knows that beating Sunderland can drag them into the relegation battle.

Harry Redknapp: “Teams that are six-seven points above us ...it can evaporate very quickly. We need a run of wins.

“We need another five wins at least. We need to win half our games and get a draw or two. I’d take 37 points and take my chances. You’d be a fool not to take it.

“I think we’ve worked hard all through [the season].

“We went unbeaten against Chelsea, Tottenham, Man City.

“We had a bad day at Swansea and then got beat by Man United.

"We bounced back with a win against all the odds.

"I can’t fault the effort. We’ve been in decent form. We need to keep that effort for the last 10 games.

"We need back to back wins. It’s something we’ve never done. It’ll put us right back in the picture.

“There’s no picking football results. Last week, probably at Southampton who beat Man City at St Mary’s. Not many gave us a chance. Tomorrow will be a tough game.

“Martin has got a couple of good strikers there. They look good up front. We can hopefully get a result.

“We drew there that night [of my first game]. It was a good performance. We’ve average over a point a game.

“The starting point was difficult. We started behind the eight ball and it’s difficult. We have every chance.”
