Sunderland manager Roy Keane has made Sweden international striker Rade Prica his fourth signing of the January transfer window.
The 27-year-old moves to Wearside from AaB Aalborg for £2million and has penned a three-and-a-half-year contract at the Stadium of Light.
Keane told the Black Cats' official website: "Rade is an experienced striker with a good goalscoring record. He's hungry to play in the Premier League and will give us attacking options."
Prica has represented his country on 13 occasions and has a good goalscoring record at club level.
He started his career with hometown team Ljungby before moving to Helsingsborgs in 1998, scoring 27 goals in 73 appearances for the Swedish side.
His next port of call was German Bundesliga side Hansa Rostock before signing for Aalborg in July 2006. Prica netted 28 times in 48 appearances for the Danish outfit before opting to try his luck in England.
Black Cats boss Keane has already signed Phil Bardsley, Jonny Evans and Jean-Yves Mvoto this month.
