Portuguese Star Plays Down Wearside Move!

Braga defender, Leandro Salino, has rejected speculation linking him to a summer move to Sunderland.

The 27-year-old is out of contract with the Portuguese side at the end of the season.

Recent reports have suggested Martin O'Neill was closing in on a pre-contract agreement, but the Brazilian insists he is yet to sort out his future.

Leandro Salino: "I know of the alleged interest in the newspapers, but nothing has reached my agent or me.

"I will resolve my future in June.

"Now I only think about fulfilling my contract with SC Braga and winning the final of the Copa de la Liga [the Portuguese league cup]."
