Police Barriers at the Stadium of Light

Police bring in new measures. Northumbria Police have erected an 8 foot tall metal fence outside the Stadium of Light’s South stand in a bid to stop the derby fans clashing.  This metal barrier will prevent any contact with both sets of fans as the mags both enter and leave the ground, usually there separated by two rows of police officers.
