Nosworthy suffers injury blow

Sunderland centre-back Nyron Nosworthy is set to miss the rest of the season after sustaining another hamstring injury.[LNB] The player suffered the setback while playing for Sunderland reserves in the Reserve League Cup final against Derby on Wednesday.[LNB]The 28-year-old limped off in the 53rd minute of the Black Cats' 3-1 victory at Pride Park, the latest blow after only recently returning from a hamstring tear.[LNB]Neil Bailey, the Black Cats first team and reserve team coach, told the club's official website: "It's a hamstring injury but we don't think it's a recurrence of the original one.[LNB]"It put a dampener on the win."[LNB]Nosworthy has made 16 starts for Sunderland in the Premier League this term, although he has not featured in the top flight since January.[LNB]
