No Bent regrets for Redknapp

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp insists he has no regrets about selling Darren Bent as he prepares to come up against his former striker.[LNB] Bent will be keen to prove a point when Spurs visit the Stadium of Light this weekend after Redknapp famously ridiculed the striker last year when he joked that his wife could have scored with the kind of free header that the striker had missed against Portsmouth. [LNB]Redknapp offloaded Bent last summer as he felt he had enough strength in his striking options and, despite seeing the former Charlton man net 21 goals so far this season, he believes he made the right call.[LNB]"He has had a terrific season," Redknapp said. "I thought Darren would score his share of goals. [LNB]"But I was OK as I had Jermain Defoe and he has scored goals for us."
