New boss Bruce taking Sunderland to Amsterdam to face Ajax, Atletico and Benfica
Sunderland have been invited to take part in the Amsterdam tournament in July.
The Wearsiders, who have named Steve Bruce as their new manager, will line up alongside hosts Ajax, Atletico Madrid and Benfica.
Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn told the Black Cats's official website: 'This is a very prestigious tournament and it's fantastic for the club to be involved.'
The event takes place between July 24 and July 26.
