M'Voto set for Southend switch

05 August 2009 16:15
Jean-Yves M'Voto is in talks with Southend over a possible loan move from Sunderland, the Blues have confirmed. Reports had suggested that the deal for the 21-year-old was already complete, but the club insist that while talks are at an advanced stage, no deal has yet been completed. The 21-year-old will provide much needed cover should skipper Adam Barrett not recover form a knee injury before the League One opener against Huddersfield this Saturday. M'Voto started his professional career at Paris St-Germain before joining the Black Cats in January 2008.
