He's not going but he is going....probably NOT! Media reports and rumour mongers publishing that Sunderland striker and world cup star Asamoah Gyan is to leave Sunderland AFC before the transfer window closes tonight at 11pm.  With the most common destination being Turkish outfit Galatasaray, the rumours started as Gyan’s agent is currently in Turkey talking to clubs about another one of his clients ex Sunderland player Sulley Muntari.  Other reports are suggesting that there has been a bid turned down for the striker by Sunderland, which again came from the Turkish giants. As the rumours started circulating last night, Gyan’s Twitter account was said to have taken some abuse from a minority of so called Sunderland fans. Close friends of the striker both confirmed that in fact Gyan was back in Ghana awaiting international duty.  They also added of their disappointment of things posted towards the player, one friend commented, “But i must say ive been shocked at some of the messages some SAFC fans left on his twitter page, after some of da games, they were so cruel.”  Then going on to say, “and i wonder how that made Asamoah feel reading all those messages?? I felt really bad and wasnt the one they were directed at!..”
