Miller move on the cards
08 Nov 2006 - 08:02:20
Out-of-favour midfielder Tommy Miller will be allowed to leave Sunderland on loan in a bid to play some first-team football, according to Black Cats boss Roy Keane.
Miller has made just a handful of appearances for the Wearsiders this term and has found himself well down the pecking order since the arrival of Keane earlier in the season.
Miller, 27, has been linked with a switch to former club Ipswich Town, who he left to join Sunderland in 2005.
"Tommy was out when I first came in with an illness. There's clubs who have been in touch about taking him on loan," admitted Keane.
"There might be a bit of movement in the next few weeks.
"I haven't got a problem with players coming to see me and saying they're frustrated, it's not a problem.
"We'll see how it goes. Tommy might want to go and get some games."
