Mignolet loving life with Cats

Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet admits he has found it easy to settle at the Stadium of Light as "everyone has been very good to me". The Belgian international initially feared it may take him some time to adapt to life in England after signing a five-year deal with Sunderland last June. But the 22-year-old former Sint-Truiden stopper has revealed his Black Cats team-mates have help him adapt quickly to life in Wearside. "Settling in was easy. I spoke a little of the language, which really helps," Mignolet said on the official Sunderland website. "I am not that far away from Belgium here - only an hour flight - and my family are quickly here too. I have been made to feel welcome by everyone at the club, from the players to the supporters. "We have a number of foreign players who speak other languages I can speak. Everyone has been very good to me."
