Mick McCarthy has entered the most difficult spell of his four-year reign at Wolverhampton Wanderers, convinced that his employers are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with him. [LNB]The Molineux boss has thanked owner Steve Morgan and chief executive Jez Moxey for their support after grumblings of discontent. [LNB]McCarthy's team were booed off at half-time last week against Blackpool and with just two victories all season and an injurylist reaching epic proportions, McCarthy is staring down the barrel. [LNB] Standing firm: McCarthy insists everybody at Wolves is supporting him[LNB]Fortunately for him, the gun does not appear to be loaded. [LNB]McCarthy, whose team have an inevitably crucial home game against Sunderland, said: 'I don't sense there's any problem. I've had fabulous support from Steve Morgan and Jez Moxey. [LNB]'Steve is hugely positive and supportive and has been since he got here. It's the same with Jez and everyone else, that's why the atmosphere's great around this place despite the poor results.' [LNB]Moxey said: 'We don't press the panic button at this club. In difficult times we stick together both as a club and on the pitch. [LNB] Troubled times: Wolves are going through a bad patch in the league[LNB]'Stability has been a core factor in our success in recent years and it can push Wolves forward again.' [LNB]McCarthy, 51, is held in huge affection by club staff, media and his players. But he knows the knives will be sharpened in some quarters if Sunderland are not beaten. [LNB]'I haven't said this is a must-win game but it's a vital game,' he said. [LNB]'The players know it is. Let's accept what everyone can see is as plain on the nose on my face, that it's a huge game for us.'[LNB]  Wolves hand out trial to goal-shy Nice striker BagayokoWolves rocked as Henry is ruled out for two months with a knee injuryWOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS FC
