Mensah wants Premier League return

yon defender John Mensah has revealed he would like to return to the Premier League next season.[LNB] The Ghana captain was on loan at Sunderland last term, where he made 16 league appearances for the Black Cats.[LNB]He will now return to Lyon where he hopes his domestic future will be sorted out, as fellow Ligue 1 club Monaco are also thought to be interested.[LNB]The 27-year-old centre-half missed a penalty as Ghana crashed out of the World Cup in the quarter-finals, although the Black Stars put up a brave fight.[LNB]Mensah now wants to return to England, but admits the decision will probably be out of his hands.[LNB]He told Skysports.com: "If it depends on me, I would prefer to stay in the Premier League but in football today there are many things involved.[LNB]"Lyon is my club so they have their say as well. The sad thing is I never gave my best to Lyon.[LNB]"I am resting now and want to get my batteries recharged for next season. I want to have an injury free season at the top level."
