Mensah seals Black Cats switch
Sunderland have completed the signing of Ghana defender John Mensah from Lyon.[LNB] Mensah becomes manager Steve Bruce's sixth signing of the summer, joining Paulo da Silva, Lee Cattermole, Lorik Cana, Fraizer Campbell and Darren Bent at the Stadium of Light.[LNB] The 26-year-old joins on a season-long loan and Sunderland have the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season, according to the club's official website.
