Sunderland's John Mensah admits he is delighted to be playing in England. The Ghana star joined The Black Cats on a season-long loan from French giants Lyon. The defender is yet to start a match, but he is confident he made the right choice in moving to the Premier League. "This is a dream come true, and I am here and hopefully Sunderland will do well," Mensah told skysports.com. "I will enhance my reputation in this country. I am not known here like in France or Italy," he said. "I think I will do well and I want to get the trust of the gaffer here, I want to please him and hope I will get an opportunity. "I think I will do well this season, and then we can see what happens at the end." Mensah himself has already helped Ghana qualify for next year's World Cup finals, and he is looking forward to the trip to South Africa. "I am looking forward to the World Cup, I think an African side could be sensational, maybe Ghana or Ivory Coast," he added.
