McClean Isn't Only One Pushing IRA On Twitter

James McClean isn't the only one causing uproar over making comments about the IRA on twitter.

Ireland U-21 international Shane Duffy issued another apology yesterday for a controversial tweet that popped up on his account early on Monday morning.

Twitter users were taken aback when a pro-IRA comment from another user was retweeted onto his timeline.

Duffy claims that somebody else was responsible – and his mates have gotten him into trouble on the social network before.

"I am mortified by the tweet and apologise for any upset caused," said Duffy. "The tweet was sent by a third party after my phone was taken. Steps will be taken to avoid any further recurrence." Evidently, Everton were unimpressed.
