Marcos Angeleri signs for Sunderland after Argentine full-back leaves Estudiantes

Sunderland have completed the protracted signing of Argentinian full-back Marcos Angeleri from Estudiantes.

The 27-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Wearsiders and joins for an undisclosed fee.

Angeleri has been training with Sunderland for some time, but had beenunable to formally sign because his Italian passport, to which he isentitled through his father, had not been issued.

But with the paperwork now completed, Angeleri has become Steve Bruce'sfifth summer capture following the acquisitions of Titus Bramble, SimonMignolet, Cristian Riveros and Ahmed Al-Muhammadi.
