Manchester United supporters are planning to infiltrate the home fans at Sunderland in two weeks after the North East club cut their ticket allocation by almost half. [LNB]Just days after crowd trouble marred United's 1-0 win at neighbours Manchester City on Saturday, another serious security issue has come to light in the Barclays Premier League. [LNB]League rules stipulate that away clubs must receive a minimum of 3,000 tickets for all matches but Sunderland have decided to allocate United just 1,700 after becoming upset at their fans choosing to stand up during previous visits to the Stadium of Light. [LNB] United we stand: Fans of the champions will travel to Sunderland without tickets [LNB]But now supporters of the Premier League champions have vowed totravel north regardless - on what is likely to be another pivotal dayin their team's title battle with Chelsea - and buy tickets from homesupporters and touts at inflated prices outside the ground. [LNB]Mark Longden, of the Independent Manchester United Supporters'Association, said: 'This has been happening to United fans for over 10years now, but the safety argument is spurious at best. 'This could bean absolutely pivotal game, so there will be many more than 1,700United fans travelling to Sunderland and they will just buy ticketsfrom the home fans. [LNB]'In 1996, we went to Middlesbrough on the final day of the seasonand their fans were selling their season tickets for £200-£300 toUnited fans.[LNB] 'What is to stop the Sunderland fans doing the same next week?'They could pay for next season's season tickets from the proceeds andgo to watch the game in the pub.' [LNB]Sunderland are not the only club to take issue with travellingUnited fans for standing in the past. Bolton, Middlesbrough and AstonVilla have all previously cut allocations.[LNB] MADCHESTER III: Brother of United forward Diouf's beaten up by City fansMan City star De Jong desperate to forget derby defeat to UnitedWe're behind you!
