Mackems clear up confusion
Sunderland have moved to clarify the name of their signing from Egypt.[LNB] Midfielder Ahmed Al-Muhammadi arrived at the Stadium of Light from ENPPI on a season-long loan deal earlier this summer and played through pre-season under that name.[LNB]However, he made his Premier League debut against Birmingham on Saturday wearing the name "Elmohamady" on his shirt.[LNB]The Black Cats confirmed on Monday that the player had requested to be known as Ahmed Elmohamady and was registered with the authorities as such.[LNB]
