Lyon defender Mensah's arrival is imminent, says Sunderland boss Bruce
Steve Bruce remains hopeful of pushing through a season-long loan deal for Lyon defender John Mensah.
The Sunderland boss insists he is close to agreeing a deal for the Ghana international and hoped to have it done within 48 hours.
Things have taken a little longer to finalise, but Bruce revealed after Tuesday's 3-1 home defeat by Chelsea that he is finally closing in on his man.
