Sunderland have wrapped up the signing of Paris St Germain defender Jean-Yves Mvoto.
The 19-year-old centre-half has joined the Black Cats on a three-and-a-half-year contract, after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed compensation package.
Black Cats boss Roy Keane told the club's official website: "Jean is one for the future. We've seen a lot of him and he's a strong centre-back who will be a good addition to our squad."
Mvoto had been offered terms for his first professional contract with PSG, but has opted to head to England instead.
Meanwhile, Keane has told Greg Halford, Graham Kavanagh, Ross Wallace, David Connolly, Ian Harte and Stephen Wright that he will consider offers for them this month.
He added: "We're looking to bring a number of players in during the window who can play a key role this season and that means we have to manage the squad.
"There are some players that I would consider going out on loan or moving on if it's right for the player and the club."
