Jackett: No Cats interest in Trotter

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has moved swiftly to reject reports claiming Sunderland have expressed an interest in midfielder Liam Trotter.[LNB] Trotter, 22, only joined the Lions on a permanent basis from Ipswich during the summer after a successful loan spell at The Den last season, and his impressive displays have apparently attracted the attention of the Black Cats.[LNB]However, Jackett told News Shopper: "I've had no contact from Sunderland, or any calls. People did tell me that was in the papers and I have seen it but we've had no contact from anybody at all about Liam.[LNB]"I wouldn't welcome any move and we are not under any pressure to sell any of my players. We want to build and improve and certainly don't want to weaken.[LNB]"It isn't something which is on my mind and I can only go on solid phonecalls and contact.[LNB]"We as a club and myself as a manager have had no contact from anybody about any of our players, including Liam Trotter."[LNB]
