Injuries force Sunderland to rely on rookie Trevor Carson in goal

Sunderland may be forced to throw 21-year-old rookie Trevor Carson in goal against Hull tomorrow after injuries to normal first choice keepers Craig Gordon and Martin Fulop. Carson played for Northern Ireland U21s this week and manager Steve Bruce said: 'I'd have no problem throwing Trevor into the side. 'He has impressed me since I came here.'
