Hull City set to sign Sunderland defender Paul McShane for £2m

Sunderland defender Paul McShane is set to join Hull City in a £2 million deal. McShane spent four months on loan at the KC Stadium last season and is seen as a replacement for Sam Ricketts who moved to Bolton Wanderers earlier this summer. Tigers target: Paul McShane played on loan at Hull last season Currently recovering from knee surgery, McShane is expected to resume training next week. Tigers assistant manager Brian Horton said: 'Macca was terrific with us when he was last here. He's one player we've looked at. 'I'm sure there'll be movement before the window closes.'
