Sunderland defender Paul McShane is set to join Hull City in a £2 million deal.
McShane spent four months on loan at the KC Stadium last season and is seen as a replacement for Sam Ricketts who moved to Bolton Wanderers earlier this summer.

Currently recovering from knee surgery, McShane is expected to resume training next week.
Tigers assistant manager Brian Horton said: 'Macca was terrific with us when he was last here. He's one player we've looked at.
'I'm sure there'll be movement before the window closes.'
