Henderson faces six-week lay-off

Sunderland have confirmed that Jordan Henderson will be out of action for six weeks because of an ankle injury.The 19-year-old midfielder damaged ligaments against Wigan on 6 February and medical tests on Monday revealed the extent of Henderson's problem. "Obviously we're glad there's no serious damage, but to be without a player like Jordan for six weeks is a blow," said manager Steve Bruce.
