Henderson To Return To Wearside?

According to the Daily Mirror ...

... Liverpool are keen on keeper Simon Mignolet and are willing to offer former Black Cats midfielder Jordan Henderson in an exchange deal.

Apparently Liverpool are expecting regular goalkeeper Pepe Reina to leave the Merseyside club this summer.

Mignolet has keep nine clean sheets, despite Sunderland's lowly position in the league, and only two Premiership goalkeepers have done that more this season.

But the 24 year old is being targeted by a number of clubs - if you believe the newspapers - including Man Utd and Arsenal.

But Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers may have to throw Henderson into the bargain to tempt Martin O’Neill into a sale.

Henderson has improved of late but many still believe the £17m fee Liverpool paid is well over-priced.

Henderson has been handed just eight Premier League starts thus far this season.
