Henderson keen to learn from "difficult" debut

Jordan Henderson admitted he had endured a tough start to life as an England player after his debut ended in a 2-1 defeat to France. Wednesday's match proved to be a difficult one for the 20-year-old, who struggled to get on the ball and saw Les Bleus run rings around him at times as the visitors dominated from the start. However, the Sunderland midfielder is determined to learn the lessons from the clash at Wembley and become a regular in the side for years to come. "It's a little bit difficult compared to what I'm used to," Henderson conceded. "It's my first cap but I'll learn a lot from the game and I'll keep pushing on and doing well and get another chance. "I think I can do a bit better going forward and influencing the game. "I've taken a lot out of the game and (learned from) the top-class players that are in France's team."
