Sunderland striker David Healy has extended his loan spell at Doncaster by a further month. The 31-year-old Northern Ireland international has made five appearances for the npower Championship side since his temporary move to the Keepmoat Stadium on November 4 and scored two goals. Healy, who joined the Black Cats from Fulham in August 2008, has played just 21 times for the Wearsiders - the last of them in January - and has struggled to force his way into manager Steve Bruce's plans. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Ipswich and has been allowed to go to Doncaster to get some first-team football under his belt.
