Graham Signs For Hull

Sunderland striker Danny Graham is on the verge of joining Premier League newcomers Hull City on a season-long-loan.

The Tigers were on the verge of signing Burley’s Charlie Austin last week, but the deal fell through after complications arose during the striker’s medical, leaving Steve Bruce searching for alternative options.

The Hull manager has already been busy in the transfer window, having signed goalkeepers Steve Harper and Allan McGregor and defenders Curtis Davies and Maynor Figueroa, as well as securing permanent deals for midfielders George Boyd and Ahmed Elmohamady.

Graham scored fifteen goals in eighteen months with Swansea City prior to his move to the North East, while he was also prolific for Watford and Carlisle United, giving him a goal average of almost a goal every three league games.
