Gordon: We`re doing well

Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon feels his side are well-placed in the Barclays Premier League table, despite slipping to a 3-2 defeat against Wolves. The Black Cats currently lie seventh in the standings and had been on a four-match unbeaten run, which included a comprehensive 3-0 win at champions Chelsea, prior to Saturday's loss. But Scotland international Gordon, who recently returned from a broken arm, believes there is plenty for Steve Bruce's side to be upbeat about. "There are always going to be setbacks in this league," he wrote on his blog on the club`s official website. "Look at the top of the league - Manchester United have already drawn seven games and Chelsea have lost four. "Not many teams are winning game after game; it's about taking points when you can. Overall we are having a good season and no-one will remember the Wolves game if we kick on and continue picking up points. "If you look at November as a whole we have done well. Looking at the bigger picture, we are in a good position."
