Sunderland goalkeeper Marton Fulop has admitted he was shocked by his side's sorry performance against West Bromwich Albion.[LNB] The Black Cats suffered a 3-0 defeat to the bottom-of-the-table Baggies at The Hawthorns on Saturday.[LNB]Ricky Sbragia's men now sit 16th in the Premier League, just four points above safety with four games of the season remaining.[LNB]And Fulop is aware that Sunderland cannot afford a repeat display if they are to preserve their top-flight status.[LNB]The Hungarian said: "I really struggle to understand the performance. Our fans down there were obviously not happy, and I cannot blame them for telling us.[LNB]Surprised"I think West Brom will be relegated and there was nothing for them to fight for, but they seemed to want the win more than us and I am surprised by that.[LNB]"It was a very bad day and we are not safe yet, so we cannot have many more performances like that before the end of the season.[LNB]"I am confident we will stay in the Premier League because we are capable of so much better, and we have to go and show that.[LNB]"There was something lacking from our performance from the very start, and I don't think we really got going at any stage."[LNB]
