Foxes tie up Waghorn deal

Leicester City have completed the signing of Sunderland striker Martyn Waghorn on loan until January. Skysports.com revealed earlier in the week that Waghorn was set to join the Foxes as Sunderland boss Steve Bruce looks to send some of his younger players out on loan. Waghorn has made just five appearances for the Black Cats to date and scored once in seven games on loan at Charlton last season. He was wanted by Carlisle United, but has turned down a move to League One in favour of joining Championship new boys Leicester. The 19-year-old could be involved in Saturday's game against Swansea City and Foxes boss Nigel Pearson is confident Waghorn can make an impact. "He has trained with us and did very well," Pearson told the club's official website. "He was on loan at Charlton last year and is someone who comes in and will have a positive effect."
