Enppi reject Sunderland bid for Al-Muhammadi

Egyptian club ENPPI have turned down another offer from Sunderland for winger Ahmed Al-Muhammadi, according to the player's agent. Black Cats boss Steve Bruce is an admirer of the Egypt international and saw a move to bring him to the Barclays Premier League club also scuppered on the last transfer deadline day in September. However, on that occasion it was only a loan offer, whereas this time around it was a cash deal with incentives. "Sunderland offered £2million plus 20% of the next sale," agent Nader Shawki told www.filgoal.com. "Unfortunately ENPPI insist on keeping Al-Muhammadi and do not want to sell him before the end of the season. "He is keen to make the move. He wants to play in England and knows that Sunderland are a good side. We hope we can find a solution with the board soon."
