Elmohamady lands Sunderland deal

Sunderland are set to hand on-loan midfielder Ahmed Elmohamady a permanent deal in the summer.The 23-year-old has impressed since arriving at the Stadium of Light on a season-long loan from Cairo-based side ENPPI in August 2010. [LNB]And the Black Cats are now looking to take up an option to sign the Egypt international permanently. [LNB]"He is adapting well to the unique demands of the Premier League," said manager Steve Bruce. [LNB]"I'm certain there's still much more to come from him. He's a great professional, has settled into the club and is keen to learn. [LNB]"He's been a pleasure to have around the place since he joined us." [LNB]Elmohamady began his career with hometown club Ghazl El-Mehalla where he made his first team debut aged 17 before moving to ENPPI in 2006.
