Crystal Palace have signed Anthony Stokes on loan from Sunderland for the rest of the season.[LNB] The 20-year-old striker will go straight into Neil Warncok's squad for Tuesday's clash with Championship leaders Wolves.[LNB]The Republic of Ireland international joined Sunderland in a £2million move from Arsenal in January 2007, but has stagnated at the Stadium of Light.[LNB]He has struggled to find the target on a consistent basis and was loaned out to Sheffield United for three months earlier this season.[LNB]His time with the Blades also saw him struggle in front of goal as he failed to open his account in 12 appearances.[LNB]However, Warnock, who has been on the look-out for a new striker since Craig Beattie was recalled from his loan spell by West Brom in December, sees Stokes as an ideal addition to his attacking options.[LNB]
