Di Canio To Sign 36-Year-Old?

11 June 2013 15:59
Sunderland are considering a move for veteran former Bolton Wanderers striker Kevin Davies.

Martin O’Neill tried and failed to sign the players 18 months ago in January 2012 but the offer was rejected.

Davies has since been released by his club, and new manager Paolo Di Canio is interested.

Di Canio is looking to bring in additional attacking options ... but a player who is 36 ... and not thought good enough for the Championship?

Strikers need experience, granted, but this is pushing the boat out.

His legs 'went' years ago.
