Defender quits Black Cats
Sunderland have confirmed that defender Paul McShane has joined Hull City for an undisclosed fee thought to be around £1.5m.[LNB] The Republic of Ireland international has joined Phil Brown's side on a four-year deal.[LNB] The 26-year-old spent time on loan with Hull last season to help the Tigers retain their Premier League status.[LNB] McShane had not figured for the Black Cats this season. He joined Sunderland two years ago when former boss Roy Keane agreed a £1.5m fee with West Bromwich Albion .[LNB]
