Daryl Murphy in Celtic Move

Irishman on the verge of Scottish move Its reported that Sunderland fringe player Daryl Murphy is on the verge of signing for Scottish Giants Celtic. Celtic manager Neil Lennon has today admitted that he is close to signing the Irishman, which spent the end of last season on loan at Ipswich Town.  Sunderland are set to get rid of the dead wood for the sum of 1.3 million, Murphy was offered a deal at Championship club Coventry City but city could not reach the wage demands that Sunderland where plying him with for sitting in the reserves.
