Danny sorry for confrontation

Stoke City captain Danny Higginbotham has admitted he was wrong to confront several Derby County fans at the end of the Potters' 2-0 victory at Pride Park.
The former Rams defender was involved in an ugly clash with the supporters at the final whistle and claimed he was subjected to a torrent of foul-mouthed abuse.
Higginbotham had to be restrained by team-mates before eventually going down the players' tunnel.
"A few Derby fans were giving me a bit of stick and you respond when you've been at a club and given your all for them," he said.
"It's difficult not to react but, looking back, you think to yourself you should have left it.
"It was heat-of-the-moment stuff and I won't lose any sleep over it, but it leaves a sour taste. I shouldn't have reacted, but when the adrenalin is pumping you do react.
"I'm 28 now, but sometimes it still annoys you. I just said 'I don't deserve that' back to them."
