Danny Rose Transfer Had Us Going

13 June 2013 06:21
The headline today: "Danny Rose Signs For U's" had us going. Had we missed out on the player who spent last season at SOL?

Not quite.

Oxford United have indeed confirmed the signing of Danny Rose . but it's not the player we know.

The 25-year-old was signed from Fleetwood.

He signed a two-year deal with the U's with an option for a further year having passed a medical.

Danny Rose: "It's a club I have always followed since my first time here. "They gave me my big break and I am so pleased to be back.

"I feel like I have matured as a player; I was only 19 when I first signed, and I believe I have learned my trade in the years in between.

"There is such potential here and as soon as I heard of Oxford's interest there was only one club I wanted to play for."

So then . there is STILL a chance Rose (the one in the photo) could end up back at the Stadium Of Light.
