Craig Gordon to have Surgery
Flash under the knife Sunderland and Scotland's number one keeper will be going under the surgeons knife once the final game of Sunderland's current season is over. The operation is to remove a metal plate that was put in his arm after a bad fracture caused but being kicked by Jermain Defoe. The operation is said to be routine and the keeper who has been in exceptional form will be fit to compete in the Black Cats pre-season friendly warm up games.
