Cattermole Wound Up Burnley!

28 November 2013 01:30
Sunderland Under-21s lost to Burnley in the League Cup, and Lee Cattermole played 90 minutes.

Lee Cattermole played the full 90 minutes for the young Black Cats and Kevin Ball was pleased to see the Stockton-born midfielder step up his fitness levels.

Kevin Ball: “For any of the senior lads it’s an opportunity for them to have 90 minutes and I think that’s probably the best thing for them.

“But, the likes of Lee Cattermole playing, it probably gave a boost to Burnley because they were a bit younger and they probably thought to themselves that it was a good chance to pit their wits against senior players.”
